What better way to gain new material than your own life.
Following the footsteps of many others, Will Packer is taking his intro to fatherhood and turning it into a funny sitcom. The Think Like a Man producer recently sold his comedy project Like Father, Like Son to NBC Universal.
Written by Michael Pennie, the show is an autobiographical account from actual events that happened in Packer’s life. The storyline follows a newly divorced man in his early thirties starting to reap the benefits of being young, successful, and single when he learns he fathered a child after a one-night stand while in college.
If his show is anything like his films, prepare for a Packer takeover. Like Father, Like Son is the third TV deal he’s inked.
