There is a Whitney Houston documentary in the works but without the help of her estate.
Rollingstone reports Filmmaker Nick Broomfield, who is also behind the controversial ‘Biggie and Tupac’ project, is working on a new film about Whitney Houston for BBC Two.

However the film, which is still in the early stages has no support from Whitney’s family. “The Whitney Houston Estate has no involvement in this program whatsoever,” a source from the family told the site.

According to BBC Two, the Whitney Houston documentary “goes in search of the forces that made and then destroyed the singer who has been described as having one of the greatest voices of the last 50 years.”
A release date has yet to be announced.
