Tessa Thompson is joins the Marvel family.
The ‘Dear White People’ actress has been cast in the third installment of the ‘Thor’ franchise, ‘Thor: Ragnarok.’ According to Latino Review, she will play Valkyrior. “In the comics, this character’s real name is Brunnhilde, and she is chosen by Odin to lead the Valkyrior, the Asgardians who roam battlefields, and select the honorable dead for Valhalla.”
That film is expected to start production at the end of July.
Before the actress stars in ‘Thor’ she will star opposite Natalie Portman in Alex Garland’s ‘Annihilation.’
