Michael Kors is kicking off their inaugural street style campaign and they’ve snagged the most befitting star for it: Solange Knowles.
Billboard reports Solange is the new face of Michael Kors’ street style campaign called ‘The Walk.’
For the project, photographer Tommy Ton snapped a series of images of Solo in Manhattan’s most scenic areas while sporting three very different yet distinct outfits from their fall collection.
“Solange is strong and passionate and not afraid to share her opinion with the world — and that type of confidence always makes an impact,” Kors exclusively tells Billboard. “She’s a true trendsetter. I love how she takes some of our pieces and makes them her own.”
The campaign, which is shoppable, is also very interactive. Fans of the brand can Tweet or Instagram photos of themselves wearing Michael Kors with the hashtag #SidewalkSpotted for a chance to be featured online at The Walk’s platform.
