Rihanna to Play Elvira Hancock in ‘Scarface’ Remake?

celebedition-rihannaDespite her film debut Battleship being a little less than a flop, Rihanna’s hopes are still high on becoming a movie star.

According to The Sun, RiRi is itching to reprise the role Elvira Hancock in Scarface, originally played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Universal is already in talks to recreate the 1983 classic into a modern-day Tony Montana-style drug influenced film.

Rihanna is quoted to have said, Michelle had “ridiculous swagger” and reportedly knows all Michelle Pfeiffer’s character’s words and walk. Being a huge Scarface fan, Rihanna has channeled that movie and character in some of her videos and on recent red carpets.

With her bad girl persona, Rihanna probably wouldn’t have a problem getting into character, if the role became available to her.
