Omarion tweets about arrest after he finds himself on the other side of the law.
According to TMZ, yesterday morning, (July 18) the MMG crooner was pulled over for running a stop sign in San Fernando Valley. When the officer ran his information, they found out he failed to appear in court to pay off a previous traffic ticket, prompting a warrant out for his arrest. He was immediately taken to Van Nuys Jail in handcuffs and held on a $30k bail.
Luckily he called his life line and after spending a few hours behind bars, he was released from their custody. And where did he go first to vent on his frustration? Twitter.
“I’m born & raised here in the west & an as a native I thought I had that #Californiaroll pass! Shiiidddd not today!” he started his three tweets. “Don’t be black & have tattoos. The officers that pulled me over ask me dumb ass questions like what gang are you in smh I told him MMG,” he continued about his ordeal.
However, he ended his rant on an obvious but good note, “Moral of the story is as busy as life gets pay them silly ass tickets cause if u don’t you will be treated like a criminal! I love y’all!”
While Omarion’s run in with the law was short lived, his fellow MMG member, Meek Mill didn’t have the same fate. The rapper was arrested last friday on violation of probation and sentenced to three to four months in prison.
