Michelle William brings Destiny’s Child nostalgia with “Say Yes.”
The former DC3 member enlisted the help of her sister Beyonce and Kelly Rowland for her gospel inspired track. Not only for a gal pal studio session but also for her music video that she debuted on Good Morning America today.
“Working together with Destiny’s Child again was amazing,” Williams said while premiering the video this morning. “I am just so moved by this moment right now and to have my girls on there.”
Michelle also added: “We’re still loving each other, supporting each other. They have no idea what it means to me and I think it’s full circle. We’re still rocking it out,”
The trio dressed in whimsical apparel and fluttered through the feel good music and heartwarming visual. Shot in New Jersey, the house party themed single makes you yearn for another hit album from the girl group.
“It’s Destiny’s Child time again,” said Beyoncé. “This song is so inspiring and it’s not enough music out there like this and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
The Harmony Samuels-produced song will be featured on Williams’ upcoming album Journey to Freedom, due September 9th.
