The anticipating wait is over.
August Alsina had fans on edge when he teased a snippet of his Nicki Minaj-assisted remix to “No Love,” then he made us wait a week to actually hear the full version. But the wait was worth it just to hear Nicki show off her improved vocals.
The New Orleans native sings about loving his girls attention and affection, but he’s not looking for a relationship.
“Shorty if you looking for somebody tryna settle down. Probably won’t be around, nah baby,” August sings before the Queen Barbz takes over. Starting off her verse in high notes before dropping some bars, she softens her approach to convince August he need to change his approach on the matter.
“You can’t front like this ain’t way realer / I know you hard, I know that you a killa / I know you started off a dope dealer, but let your guards down / Your ni**as know that you feel her,” she raps.
“No Love” is off of the r&b crooner’s debut album, ‘Testimony,’ which is out now. Minaj declares this is her favorite song as soon as the track begins, press play and let us know if you agree with her notion.
