Making sure she didn’t live in the shadows of her younger sister, Jhene Aiko, Mila approached music differently than her sister. Introducing herself with an indulge-heavy radio hit, “Smoke, Drink, Break-Up” she prepares for her EP “M.I.LA.”

“M.I.LA” which stands for (Made in Los Angeles) will be released in September via Motown. However she’s treating fans to an early treat with another track, “My Main” off her commercial debut project.

She sat with Rap-Up TV to talk what to expect from her EP.  “Pain in My Heart” featuring Problem, the B.o.B-assisted “Champion,” and “Times Like These.”

“It’s another love song, relationship-based song, but it’s really about me being there for my dude and going through the hard times,” she said about “Times Like These.”

She recently had a photoshoot in Venice Beach wearing bright colors while shoing off her near-perfect physique. Flip the page to check out the BTS footage and pictures from her project.
