Lifetime's Documentary on R. Kelly's Alleged Sex Cult to Feature Input From His Past Victims

Lifetime is adding more victim’s families to their documentary on R. Kelly’s alleged sex cult.

Via TheyBF:

LIFETIME is currently working on a new documentary series and a movie that will focus on the women who claim they have been abused by the “Step In The Name Of Love” singer.

For the first time, the accusers and people from Kelly’s inner circle are coming forward to share new allegations about his “sexual, mental and physical abuse.” Hmm…we wonder if his former publicist, lawyer or assistant will be featured in either of the projects since they all recently jumped ship.

We first heard of the “sex cult” rumors when Tim Savage – the father of one of R. Kelly’s alleged “sex slaves” named Jocelyn Savage – spoke out that his 21-year-old daughter was being held “hostage” and was brainwashed to be one of his “sex slaves.” Tim and his family will join two other families to help LIFETIME produce the documentary. Michelle Gardner – mother of Dominique Gardner, who reportedly still lives with Kellz, Angela Clary – the father of 20-year-old Azriel Clary, who reportedly met Kellz when she was 17-years-old and moved in with him soon after – are also involved.

One of the scenes in the documentary features footage of Michelle Gardner looking for her daughter in LA.

Both of Lifetime’s Kelly projects are executive produced by Kreativ’s Karsberg and Jesse Daniels. Dream Hampton is an executive producer on the documentary series, along with Brie Miranda Bryant from Lifetime. Ilene Kahn Power serves as an executive producer on the movie and Barbara Marshall is writing the script.

No word yet when these projects will be released, but we’ll keep you posted.
