Craig Robinson and Alexandra Shipp are teaming up for the horror comedy, ‘Tragedy Girls.’
Written by Tyler MacIntyre and Chris Hill, the movie centers on “two death-obsessed teenage girls — Shipp and Brianna Hildebrand. They use their online show about real-life tragedies to send their small Midwestern town into a frenzy and cement their legacy as modern horror legends.”
Robinson’s role in the film has yet to be defined but the movie, which will also be directed by McIntyle, begins shooting later this year.
Anthony Holt will produce through The Comeback Kids with Edward Mokhtarian and Armen Aghaeian of New Artist Pictures, alongside Cameron Van Hoy and Tara Ansley. Kerry Rhodes will serve as executive producer.
