Columbus short keeps digging himself into a hole.
On Columbus Short’s to do list for this week he forgot to add his court date. The 31-year-old actor nor his attorney appeared to court in his divorce case against his wife Tanee Short.
Failure to show up cost him $17,005 in spousal support and $4,452 for child support monthly. Plus he was ordered to pay $25,000 to cover his estranged wife’s legal bills.
This just adds to the spiral downward he’s been on in 2014. March he was charged with spousal battery after she accused of threatening to kill her while wielding a knife near her throat and pouring wine all over her (among other things). After nine years of marriage in April, Tanee, the mother of his two-year old filed for divorce. The same month he was fired from the hit ABC show, Scandal.
There’s no word as to why neither Short or his attorney appeared in court. Maybe he was auditioning for another gig, because once with a new 22k month bill to his ex, he’s in need for a new job ASAP.
