Chris Brown has a lot to regret but if he could do it all over, he wouldn’t change anything.
Breezy and his foe-turned-friend, Drake were supposed to be performing at the OVOFest today (Aug 4), but Brown’s unable to enter. Due to his legal issues and bad track record, he has been denied entry into the country.
Following his rejection, he took to his Instagram, not to rant (something the old Chris might have done) but to reflect. He posted a picture of him in his orange jumpsuit at one of his court hearings.
“I been through a lot in my life. Made a lot of mistakes along the way. But through it all I’ve always been true to myself and through God I’ve been able to take care of my family! I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man. I’m grateful and appreciative! Thank you for life!”
He later took the somber moment and turned it into a celebration as he announced for ‘X.’ The long-awaited album is expected to drop on September 16th. It’s the follow-up to his 2012 release, ‘Fortune,’ and due to various legal reasons, its been pushed back tremendously.
His platinum hit, “Loyal,” “New Flame,” “Love More,” and other yet-to-be-released tracks will be included in this album. Usher, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Brandy, Kelly Rowland, and B.o.B (plus more) will be featured on his sixth studio project.
