Teaming up with MIC, Alicia Keys gathered all her celebrity friends to shed light on all the ways a black person could be killed in America — many at the hands of the police.
Not doing anything criminal but doing normal activities.
In the chilling black and white video, 25 celebrities (including Keys, Beyonce, Taraji P Henson, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Pink, Bono, Chris Rock, Common and more) take turns describing a non-threatening, normal, everyday action that a black person can and has been killed doing.
As they say each activity, the face of the person killed while or because of their mundane action appears on the screen.
Titled, ’23 Ways You Could Be Killed if You Are Black in America,” the nearly three-minute video is just one of the many ways celebrities are fighting the racial unjust in our country.
