Beyonce knows how to make a statement without saying a word.
Today (July 22) the singer recreated the Rosie the Riveter “We Can Do It” poster and uploaded it to her Instagram.
‘Rosie the Riveter’ was created to recognize the working factory women during World War II and since then its become the icon for women rights and feminism. Letting the image’s meaning speak for itself, the caption-less picture instantly goes viral.
This isn’t the first time the self-titled “modern day feminist,” incorporated views similar to the iconic posters. Her recent self-titled album is a testimony to her views and more than ever she needs to make a statement.
