The usual atmosphere that is surrounded by VH1’s hit TV show Basketball Wives–violent, yelling, and unlady like actions–was not present at all during the first part of the reunion show which aired last night (June 4).
Throughout this season of Basketball Wives, the ladies of this reality show were seen in outrageous physical and verbal fights. However, last night the main verbal words that were being heard were apologies. This season’s most “beated on” star, Jennifer Williams, apologized for her participation in badmouthing any of the ladies through blogs and interviews.
Evelyn Lozada, who has been one of the more violent stars of the show, apologized to Kenya Bell for their fight, stating it was the one moment in the entire run of the show that she wishes she could take back. After her kids thought her actions were “cool,” Evelyn realized she hadn’t been setting a good example as a mother to her children.
Tami Roman, although not sorry for what she said, was apologetic to Kesha Nichols for how she went about addressing her problem with her. This was the first part of the 2-part reunion and the rest can be watched next Monday at 8 p.m. ET on VH1.
