If you ever thought about doing a singing competition show, now’s the time to do it.
Alicia Keys recently announced she will be joining ‘The Voice’ for Season 7. With multiple grammy’s perched on her mantle, the individuals she mentors are sure to get her musical secret to success.
Excited about the news, she tweeted a picture next to Pharrell (above) with the caption.
“I think my friend @Pharrell will take it all on #TheVoice!! Excited to be a mentor for his team!”
And she sealed her tweet with a smiley face. The “Happy” hit maker confirmed her news by tweeting back, “Can’t wait @aliciakeys.” But neither’s tweets would have been legit without a tweet of approval from the network. They chimed in with their own announcement to their over 3 million followers.
“#TeamPharrell, we have very exciting news about your Season 7 advisor!’ the news read, adding: ‘#AliciaKeysonTheVoice!!!”
Pharrell and his adviser Alicia keys have joined this season to replace former coach Usher. While Shakira’s spot has been secured by Gwen Stefani with her adviser, husband Gavin Rossdale. And Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are both coming back with their advisers Stevie Nicks and Little Big Town.
