With over a month since over 300 girls were kidnapped, 20 more Nigerian girls have been nabbed. Its suspected that Boko Haram militants are behind the most recent kidnapping from a nomadic settlement close to their original attack location.
They hit the Garkin Fulani settlement last Thursday afternoon and held the women at gunpoint while they loaded them into their vehicles. According to the AP, three men tired to help but were also snagged in the abduction.
This attack comes on the heels of the Boko Haram’s deadly attack in Gowza (northeast Nigeria) that left nearly 200 people dead. The residents are even more furious with the government because they residents claim their military was aware of these attacks and refused to intervene. As of lately there has been a 20 casualty to the terrorist.
